was an evangelical Christian missionary to Ecuador who, along with four others, was killed while attempting to evangelize the Waodani people through efforts known as Operation Auca.

Have you ever wondered why a jehovah witness always talks about his Religion as much as he can?

I use to sit right next to and work with a jehovah witness. He would always talk about his religion at work. Have you ever asked why they are doing that? Well, I just found out by a friend of mine that was a jehovah witness and the reason they do that is to daily log it into his log tracking for the week. You see this religion is based on works. They must continue to work out there salvation for jehovah and their governing body the watchtower society. My co-worker would always talk about what watchtower says on behalf of jehovah. He would try to make conversation with anyone or just speak to anyone. Well, for those who were wondering about why they do this, is because it helps their elder's see how much "preaching their doctrine" to lost souls that are not JW's. As a born-again Christian, I get very righteously angered by them spewing out lies and deceiving other people about a false gospel and a false god they call jehovah. There founder of this organization was Charles T. Russell. He was a baptist growing up and was a unconverted Christian that got mad about the doctrine of hell. So, he started a magazine called the "Watchtower Publican". Now it's called the "Watchtower society Organization based out of New York". When they come to your door they will ask you if you want to have a bible study. But it's not a bible study they want to get with you, it's a deception to get you to listen to their false doctrine about God. They will hand you a watchtower magazine that will have all the theology of the watchtower society. They will incorporate in bible verses that will make you think it is Christian, but it's a deception that will indoctrinate you with becoming a jehovah witness. If you have not used any discernment regarding them before, I would recommend you read your Bible on your own and wish them a good bye and pray they will get out of that cult some day and find the true and living God, that is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We ignore God in attitude and in action. We rebel and separate ourselves from Him, breaking our relationship, which ultimately results in death - permanent separation from Him.

Ignoring God in attitude leads to ignoring Him in action. Because we ignore God, we end up living life our own way. Some of us do this in small ways, and some of us in really big and devastating ways that have significant consequences. We mess up our lives and we never find real fulfillment in life. When we live in rebellion to God, it affects and breaks our relationship with Him.

The Bible says, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23) "There is no one righteous, not even one; There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God, all have turned away." (Romans 3:10-12a)

How do you think God will react to us ignoring Him?
"God is love" (1 John 4:8) On one hand God is loving, so He doesn't want to punish us.

"God is just" (Exodus 34:7b) on the other hand God is just, which means He must punish our sin.

God's love for us doesn't depend on what we do for Him. He wants to have a relationship with us. But no matter how much He loves us and doesn't want to punish us, He cannot ignore our sinfulness.

God solved this tension in the person of Jesus.

Jesus lived the perfect life.

The Bible tells us that Jesus was fully God and fully man. He lived a perfect (sinless) life. Being man, He experienced adversity - just like us - in the midst of social upheaval, depression, and crisis. But, being God, He never sinned. Because Jesus chose to obey, He lived his life to the fullest; being blessed by God and being a blessing to those around Him. It's the way life was meant to be lived.

So if Jesus lived His life to the full, what does that mean for us?

Jesus did something no one else could do because of who He is. Being without sin, He became the substitute for our sins, and by doing so, He has removed the barrier that blocked our relationship with God. He took our penalty, our sins were laid on Him and He assumed our guilt and our debt, and He rose from death to a life forever. This means we can join Jesus and live with Him forever. We're not covered by guilt or sin anymore, because Jesus has removed it.

The Bible says, "God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Our relationship with him can start today, and we can have life to the full, now and forever.
How do we receive this life to the full?

Jesus says, "I am the way the truth and the life." (John 14:6)

We start this relationship through faith, and receive this life to the full as a free gift.

Faith is not simply knowing in our mind the existence of God and Jesus. Faith is not temporary or fleeting.

Faith is Knowledge, Agreement, and Trust.

It is understanding who Jesus is and what He did for you, agreeing that He is in fact the Lord and Savior, and trusting in Him alone for life to the full.

We cannot in any way earn or deserve this relationship with God.

The Bible says, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Trusting in Jesus is the only way by which we can receive this life He promises.
The real life Jesus offers can start today and go on forever.

It's a life that lasts beyond the grave. Jesus offers us this life to the full. All we have to do is take it.

Would you like to begin this relationship with Jesus and have life to the full?

You need to:
A. Admit that you have sinned against God, need to REPENT(turn from your wrong doing sinful acts), and TRUST His forgiveness (found in Jesus Christ Alone).
B. Believe that only Jesus can save, that He died, and rose again (the good news to your problem of wrong doing. Only his perfect sacrifice can be exchanged for your imperfect sinful sacrifice that you offer daily in this mortal body).
C. Commit to make Jesus Him Lord daily and Savior of your Soul.

If this is the desire of your heart, then we encourage you to tell God by speaking to Him in these words:

My Lord and my God, I admit that I have been wrong in not following You. I turn away from my sin - I repent. Please forgive me. I believe that You paid the penalty for me on the cross and that You rose again from the dead to offer me new life. I commit myself to following You as my Savior and Lord. I want Your gift of life, now and forever. Help me to live for You by the power of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Jesus says, "I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life." (John 6:47)

Like any relationship, your relationship with God needs to grow.

You can begin immediately by doing 5 things:

Bible - read the Bible, this is God's primary way of speaking to us
Pray - talk with God, he wants to hear from you
Worship - attend a local Bible believing church that uses the Bible, not man-made tradition of set of rituals or acts
Fellowship - we reflect those we spend time with
Witness - speak to others about your new-found relationship with God in Jesus Christ

Stop asking yourself the question, and instead read your Bible, and you will see that Jesus mocked the religious leaders and others--calling them all sort of bad names--snakes, dogs, hypocrites, blind guides, and even camel-swallowers and gnat-strainers. I'm sure He would call you a fool because of your professed atheism (oh...He already did--see Psalm 14:1). Look at how God mocks rebellious sinners:

"Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, because you disdained all my counsel, and would have none of my rebuke, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, when your terror comes like a storm, and your destruction comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you" (Proverbs 1:23-27).

The problem is that you have this strange but common view of Jesus--as though He was some sort of pale-faced and weak pacifist, who turned the other cheek because He didn’t have the strength of character to fight back. But the principle of "turn the cheek" is, you go ahead and hit me if you wish and I won’t hit you back--God will, if He sees fit to do so.

This is what the Bible says of Jesus and why He didn’t fight back:

"Who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth; Who, when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously..."(1 Peter 2:22-23).

The first time Jesus came, He came as the sacrificial Lamb of God, meek and lowly, to suffer for the sin of the world. The second time He comes, He will come as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, to bring Justice to a wicked world:

"This same Jesus is when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed" (2 Thessalonians 7:10).

So make sure you trust in His mercy, through repentance and faith in Him, or you will come until His terrible wrath:

"He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life" (1 John 5:10-12).

Another mormon thinking his mormonism is "Christianity", well it's NOT!

Wretched Radio and TV’s Todd Friel has been doing an outstanding job of reaching out to Glenn Beck personally, calling upon him to abandon Mormonism if he really has repented of his sins and believes in the Atonement. Other Christians who instead publically affirmed Becks’ faith include David Barton, Jim Garlow, James Robison, Jerry Falwell, Jr., and Dave Roever. These all participated in or helped promote Beck’s rallies in Washington, DC last weekend, called Divine Destiny (held on 8/27) and Restoring Honor. The latter rally may have had between 500,000 and a million attendees. How many of those who attended on 8/28 were evangelicals? Is there blood on the hands of pastors and other evangelical leaders who mislead Beck into thinking his profession is valid in spite of his apparent unwillingness to leave the Latter Day Saints? What kind of example are they giving their flocks?

A Christian woman accused of distributing the Bible, a book banned in communist North Korea, was publicly executed last month

While sitting at work, often I have time to think. I do have time during the day to do my daily Bible reading and Christian blog reading, but last Friday I came across an article. It talked about how suppressed and mind controlled this country was. If you haven’t had any education on how North Korea is controlled by their country’s dictator, Kim Jong I. Those inside North Korea are forced to worship their government leader as a god. While many in the country suffer in darkness under a cruel regime, a light is the piercing light of Jesus Christ’s message of hope. I enjoy reading stories that you can see God working in the world. Here in America we have so much materialism, it’s hard to be set apart. I usually try to think of myself and how difficult it would be there. I usually try to transport myself in my mind over in a North Korea house and how my day would go. Would I be bold and profess my faith and get martyr for my God-Jesus Christ? Would I use some wisdom and worship secretly and witness to my family and friends? Can you fathom this structure of life in a society like this? Pray for those people and our brother’s and sister’s in the Lord Jesus that a revival takes place and many come to Jesus and are set Truly Free for eternity!
