What a Game!

Slow-pitch Softball

I have just finished my fourth season of playing slow-pitch softball. It has been a blast and such a learning experience. I have increased in my ability to play the game and it has opened up the door for God to work on me. Coming from a background of sports-centered life, my passion for the game has altered about 180 degrees to “vertical centered Godliness” and drifted away from “horizontal selfish-ness” centered. I have learned to play for my God – Jesus Christ and bring glory to Him. Playing softball holds great potential for my godliness. Humility is a big factor in the way you play the game. I have learned to play the game passionately and unselfishly to give glory to God. By the grace of God, softball helps me grow in all areas of my Christian life.

I will be joining Shawn Holes and the ministry group in St. Cloud, MN October 21st at SCSU. We will be open air-preaching and handing out gospel tracts. We will be sharing the gospel with the students. We will now be praying for the hearts of the students that will attend and may God's Holy Spirit move through their hearts that attend. Hudson Ray Hagen (July 8, 2008 – Present), is honored to be named after two great God-Centered missionary evangelist's. He will carry the name well we hope!
